Tea and Biscuit's...

I like clichés and idioms, I guess it's an 'MC thing', I use them alot in my day to day life, whether it be musically, in conversation or whilst writing. There is one I particularly hate, seeing as I come from the 'other side of the tracks' in London. It is part of the antiquated and outdated Mary Poppins-esque imagery more associated with early-mid 20th century Britain than the London of here and now.

That is 'Tea...
and Biscuits'

Indeed it is true that a large number of us Brits do drink tea periodically from time to time, often accompanied by some snack whether it be biscuit or not. However, in the London I'm from (at roadside level anyway) the word 'Biscuit' is more synonymous with firearms than munchies.

There are guns and gunmen in this city, there are in nigh on EVERY city of the world, whether it be Turin, Johannesburg, Lagos or here in London. Having said that, the urban music made in this city (genre's I would sternly call my own) may give you the idea that absolutely everybody and, their pet Staffordshire Terrier "Diesel" is 'dumping shots' from their favourite Leng. Some of them are telling the stone cold truth...

but a larger number fortunately (for public safety, but less so for artistic integrity sakes) are only pumping imaginary weaponary, and cannot harm you with their 'gun fingers'... poking you in the eye lolol.

Although I would easily put it to you that almost everyone in London is maximum '3-4 degree's of seperation' from a firearm. Many of these weapons are Rebores; converted starter pistols or deactivated guns, which are a lottery as they carry the risk of back firing and injuring the shooter. That's the worst case scenario, it could just jam on you!!!

'Them dudes' really do exist... but 9 times out of 10, if you hear someones rhetoric stinking of contrived Tony Montana-ism's or hear someone talking about how they smell like there aftershave is GunPowderResidue for men by LengSuttinDown Wear, don't have nightmares people! Sleep tight in the knowledge that it's all a game, and they're jjust people in fancy dress costumes...
