Meh...

I still haven't finished the picture I was on about yesterday!
Instead I have begun finishing touches to the 'devil' picture which is the opposite to the 'angel' picture I've almost finished.

This is what my desktop looks like at the moment...
fact is, I'm holding my face because sometimes it feels like the 'work is never done'
*_*
No point in complaining though, I like being 'Bizzy' all the time

Anyway, here's some Narstie to listen to in the mean time...

it helps with the #PAIN!

Do wat I want...

Your average MC spits bars; very few can say they spit lava, Dizzle can say he does.

The 'Do wot I want' EP is testament to that.

Even though he may have been somewhat inactive recently, as both a long time mainstay in the grime scene and the sibling of a succesful artists - Dizzle already has history.

This is the 'sophomore effort' from an artist many have always had great expectations from, and quite possibly proof that Dizzle already has a future.

Although the production comes from names as sterling as 'Faze Miyaki' and 'Bless Beats', one has to respect the loyalty that is getting Bruza and Mayhem rather than some of the more 'en vogue' names to guest.

There'll always be 'pretenders to the thrown' out here in the Grime Scene, but with Dizzle ready to go, it seems many may get a spanner in their works! This clash spinner / rave burner has come along way in order to be a fully fledged artist and this is clearly just the beginning...

Just click on the tracklist below to download the EP (it's free!)

Shout out to Dizzle Kid again, hopefully the downloads keep going strong!

Vim Diesel...

No, you didn't read the title incorrectly, that's what it says...

Furthermore, it's a fitting one; you think of Vin Diesel, and muscle is maybe the first thing that springs to mind eh. If so the analogy works, because the point I'm trying to make is Herda Vim is a big producer, his very name implies that if you haven't 'heard of him' something could be wrong with you.

Although he hasn't done 'the rounds' like some of the more established 'professional button pushers' the UK's scene has produced (i.e Davinche or Joker) he definitely has the innovation and clarity of vision.

July 3rd sees the release of his sophomore effort the "Not yet but soon" EP, and many are eagerly anticipating its arrival.

Although he's still at the 'them that knows knows' level of notoriety, this is the first step of many towards changing that.

Herda Vim?

NOT YET BUT SOON!

Turning the air blue...

Hangtite Jimmy Chiba.
Dude has been putting his camera on anything and everything for a little while now
His newest venture is 'Operation Blue Borough' in which he plans to record as much of Lewishams up and coming talent as possible.

Here's the newest episode - Big Cakes

who definitely does his thing
(despite the fact he makes the age old MC faux pas that is reading bars from his blackberry)
Watch, enjoy and expect more from Jimmy Chiba - he does this!

Heavy Duty...

Available for free download - here is the new mixtape 'Delicious Vol.1' from Essex MC Heavy Duty.

With a whopping 22 tracks - dude show's he's not work shy.
I'll say little because the evidence is there to speak for itself.

Friends, Roadmans, Countrymen...
 Enjoy!!

ps I'm there, track 17 ^_^

Herda James?

Herda Vim is a serious artist.
No nonsense, timewasters need not apply, cash upfront and direct.

This track says it all...

Here he teams up with Jordan James on 'Bring Those Notes' where he showcases clearly the reason he can be so outpsoken in terms of business.

Consistent, original and organised.
If you ain't heard've him yet...

Friday Freestyle Bonanza

I have been somewhat 'absentee' on the blogging front for the past few weeks,
somewhere between the Newham 10K and other stuff i'm doing it's peaak.

Anyways, f*ck all the talk - here's the videos...

O_o...

is the only title I could really think of that's appropriate for this post.

It's a new tune from MY PRODUCER (see how I said that) El Suavo, and there's only one word to describe it...

Enjay ft Jasmine Bee - Always On My Mind by ElSuavoDaDon

South-West London Mc Enjay and songstress Jasmine Bee both go in, but at the end of the day it's the beat that makes this the disgusting monster of a tune it is.
Given the correct promotion and what not, this track could definitely do the numbers - but what's more certain than that is that El Suavo can and will show you that which I have already clocked.

This tune is nothing short of certified.

Oi what you looking at....

There are 2 things I can say about the single: it’s most certainly grime (more so than most singles by currently successful ‘urban artists’), it’s not the best from the artist formerly known as ‘Doogz’.
I’m just picky...  so seeing as I’ve previously heard Goodz ‘go blind’, I didn’t go crazy about this.
Between tracks already in the public domain such as Gunshot and Letter to Titch, and tracks from the Boyz in the Hood era (pre- Titch’s incarceration) that are harder to find - this is not his greatest. It is however his most commercial tune to date, and although I have my doubts about this track, it is still sick!
Thoroughly Grime at the same time as being catchy enough to ‘do the rounds’ chart-wise.
He showcases his versatility in terms of flow and the productions good, but it’s just a bit too aesthetic for me. I’ve heard Goodz ‘go in’ before (believe me!); this track feels more like a teaser, but that’s okay, I’m sure the next ones gonna be lava.

My verdict – Straight cop! Furthermore, familiarise yourself with the works of this young Gentleman, he has been and still is an important part of Grime.

Overall - 6.5/10

The Sun...

Has an online feature about Marger

That's currently on their site.
Good look for both Marger and Grime as a genre.

Hitsville UK....

A beautiful idea, the idea of a domestic scene big enough to circum-navigate A&R's and slimy music executives, a scene bubbling enough just to give music straight from the artist to the listener without feeding an overbloated middle-man.

Although the song is by The Clash...

the dream is timeless and belongs to us all.

If Wiley is the Godfather of this countries most growing music genre, this song or the idea represented is ideologically something like the Old Testament (should they ever write the book of grime).

Sound Freakz...

Is launching on the 21st February (touchwood)
and I'm sure it'll be both glorious and amazing!

We aim to cover as many genre's as possible in terms of reviewing
whilst remaining honest, organic and fun in terms of style.

I don't wanna say too much about it, lest I 'jynx it' but fact is,
I've got a good feeling about this - immense even.

Here's my Personal Bio for the site:

I often carry sweets such as Fruit-tella or Starburst on my person - to put it quite frankly, no you cannot have one. I don’t have hair like a Black Justin Bieber, he has a bonce like a white Bizzy Dot. I drink espresso, but don’t mix up mine and Tilda’s orders – mine’s the double with two sugars bredrin.
I’m a blogger, I say what I want and like the umpire and ballboy’s in tennis, you can decide whether or not I crossed the line after. I am ‘him with the big mouth’ and I’ve got a lot to say, furthermore I won’t be silenced easily like a shotgun, I am more than a problem, I am the calamity that fell from the sky. No matter what I write, its spelt ‘G R I M E’. I am Bizzy Dot and being over-opinionated is ‘Bizzyness as Usual’ people. Easy.

Shenanigans!!

If you don't know about 'Shenanigans' you simply ain't grime... but that's OK!
The artist I'm talking about could show you the ropes easily, although it's cliched to call a Grime artist the

Durty Goodz could easily be called a reputable 118 number when it comes to this scene - anyways before I go way off tangent with that particular analogy, let me show you people what's good!

One things for sure, somebody looks like they have no plans on making watered down grime.
It's not Goodz's best, but it definitely is good!

The only way is Essex...

I spent a lot of last weekend in Southend because my long time friend Steve now lives there and found MC's.
I recorded 2 tracks with dudes I met up there and was generally impressed with their love for grime, I think it's really poignant how hard people will work when they aren't fortunate enough to be from the place 'where it's all happening'.

They haven't necessarily got the same sound (which makes sense) but they've definitely got their own sound and dudes are undeniably thorough.

It wouldn't be bizzyness as usual if I wasn't about expansion, so I'm gonna make the journey at least once a week to lay tracks with them man and maybe touch radio etc

Anyways this is one of the artists I did a tune with...

Friends, Roadmans, Countrymen - Heavy Duty is the mans name!!

Watch this space!
As soon as I get the track I did back from studio I'll put it up on either Youtube or Soundcloud!
